X-Yachts X-442  

A stunning looking X-Yacht, this X-442 is only with her second owner, both have been fastidious. Her sleek lines and racing heritage make for a nice fast cruising boat. Easy to handle and yet comfortable enough for six or more to cruise thanks the generous cabins and two heads and showers. Very Solid build as you would expect of this generation of yachts and none more so than X-Yachts with their integrated Galvanised chassis linking the keel to the rig.

Hull: Hand lay up GRP hull and deck off white gelcoat, Integrated galvanized floor (500kg) taking  the keel, rig and hull loads. Epoxy treated from new. Black antifouling. X Yacht triple hull style lines, painted in Gunmetal Grey 2017.

Deck: GRP, teak laid side deck and cockpit. Original with average of 6mm of teak remaining.

Superstructure: GRP with low profile coachroof windows.

External trim: Teak, aluminium toe rail and stainless steel deck fittings.

Keel: lead bolted internally to steel grid frame, high performance bulb with fully spade rudder – Standard keel 2.30m

Interior: Finished in satin varnished teak with Teak and holy sole boards. Stair treads in solid Teak. Sunbrella grey upholstery new 2018.

8 guests, owners double forwards,  two twin cabins aft, Saloon seating converts two a double  Massive foredeck locker.

Forward Owners Double, Large Double bed over 140cm wide and well over 200cm long. New top quality luxury mattress. Storage is provided all around with hinged lockers port and to starboard. A good size wardrobe has hanging space and shelves. Massive storage are below the bed with hinged access. Reading lights and two deck hatches and normal port lights give plenty of light and ventilation when required.

A well designed dressing table had a mirror integrated and give useful storage for small items. More storage can be found below the seating. The heads are en-suit.

Owner heads: Manual heads with cover, teak grating and drain for shower pump out. Large mirrored storage locker. Opening hatch and port light.
